Senior Trader
- Higher education in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field.
- At least 4 years of trading experience at a brokerage firm, bank, investment company or other financial institution.
- Practical experience with financial instruments, including equities, commodities, derivatives (CFDs, futures and options) and other market instruments.
- Strong understanding of market microstructure, including order flow, liquidity, spreads and execution quality.
- Practical experience in executing trades and monitoring positions under changing market conditions.
- Understanding of market risk management principles, including position sizing, stop-loss approaches and exposure control.
- Knowledge of Georgian financial regulations; experience working in a regulated environment will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Georgian and/or Russian for working with platforms, counterparties and documentation will be an advantage.
- Experience with trading platforms such as MetaTrader, CQG, cTrader and Bloomberg will be an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of analytical tools and experience working with trading reports will be an advantage.
- Execution of trading operations in compliance with internal procedures and limits.
- Technical and fundamental market analysis.
- Assessment of liquidity, spreads and order execution quality.
- Control of positions, market risk, exposure and leverage.
- Application of basic hedging and risk management approaches.
- Analysis of trading results and P&L.
- Identification of market opportunities and adaptation to changing market conditions.
- Data-driven decision-making based on market information.
- Preparation of trading and analytical reports.
- Ability to work under volatile market conditions while maintaining discipline and execution accuracy.
- Executing trading operations in accordance with the Company’s internal procedures and established limits.
- Working with financial instruments in international financial markets within the scope of the Company’s approved products and strategies.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate execution of orders.
- Monitoring market liquidity, spreads and other parameters affecting execution quality.
- Continuously monitoring open positions, exposure and risk levels.
- Complying with established risk limits and participating in the escalation of deviations where necessary.
- Applying risk-control tools and, where necessary, hedging approaches.
- Conducting technical and fundamental market analysis, including assessing the impact of economic news and macroeconomic factors.
- Identifying trading opportunities within the Company’s approved strategy.
- Analysing trading results, including P&L, and contributing to the optimisation of trading approaches.
- Preparing trading reports and other analytical information for Management and related functions.
- Cooperating with Risk Management, Compliance, Operations and other internal functions on matters relating to trade execution and control.
- Participating in the testing and implementation of new trading approaches, instruments and workflows within the scope of the Company’s authority.
