Georgian-Linked Stocks on the LSE End the Week Mixed
The trading week of 27–31 July produced a more uneven performance for companies representing Georgian business on the London Stock Exchange than the previous week. TBC Bank Group remained in positive territory, Lion Finance Group ended the period slightly lower, while Georgia Capital recorded the sharpest correction.

Lion Finance Group, whose shares trade under the ticker BGEO, closed Friday’s session at £116.10 per share. Compared with the previous week’s closing level, the shares declined by 0.77%. Trading was volatile throughout the week: after rising to £119.30, the price fell as low as £110.50, before recovering a significant part of the losses by Friday. The group’s market capitalisation is estimated at approximately £4.93 billion.

TBC Bank Group was the only issuer to finish the week higher. Shares traded under the ticker TBCG gained 1.05%, closing at £48.12. The performance was also uneven during the week: the price fell below £46.30 in the middle of the period, before recovering and reaching an intraday high of £49.32 on Friday. TBC Bank Group’s market capitalisation stands at around £2.58 billion.

The most pronounced decline was recorded by Georgia Capital. Shares of the investment group, traded under the ticker CGEO, ended the week at £39.55, down 5.16% from the previous Friday. During the week, the shares traded within a range of £39.30–£42.35, while Thursday’s recovery attempt was not sufficient to offset the earlier decline. The company’s market capitalisation is estimated at approximately £1.40 billion.

The combined market value of the three groups stood at around £8.9 billion at the end of the week. Lion Finance Group accounted for more than half of this amount and retained its position as the largest Georgian-linked company listed on the LSE.

Following the broad-based gains recorded a week earlier, the three stocks therefore moved in different directions. TBC Bank Group strengthened its position, Lion Finance Group ended the week with only a modest decline, while Georgia Capital corrected after its strong performance in the previous period.

Weekly performance is calculated using the closing prices of 24 and 31 July 2026. Share prices are stated in pounds sterling.
